I've been informed that the pro-life group "survivors" were told by oneLifeLA that they would not allow them to circulate petitions re parental notification for minors considering abortion. As it is now, a minor needs parental notification and/or signature for just about everything,from field trips to sex-ed, and the list goes on,but if a girl wants an abortion,no parental notification is required,let alone consent. It seems to be a no-brainer that a parent should be informed & allowed to talk to their child before such a major surgical procedure is executed. And these petitions were circulated & endorsed on stage in san francisco,but I'm told Jose Gomez and/or his assistants wouldn't allow it or endorse it in L.A. Shame on Jose or whoever said NO (apparently x3 for emphasis ie "no,no,no"!)
